This 51-year-old female elected to undergo a breast implant revision with downsizing, capsulectomy, and breast lift after experiencing heaviness and discomfort with her previous implants. Her original textured silicone implants (400cc) were placed above the muscle in 2005, resulting in a D/DD cup size. She desired to be smaller, higher, tighter, and perkier, while improving comfort and breast position.
She underwent a breast implant exchange to smaller silicone implants (350cc) placed under the muscle, combined with capsulectomy and a breast lift using a superior medial pedicle with Wise pattern technique, performed by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Traci Temmen in Tampa, Florida. The results reflect a lighter, more lifted breast contour with improved proportion, comfort, and natural upper pole fullness.
