This 26-year-old patient presented to Tampa plastic surgeon Dr. Traci Temmen to discuss breast augmentation surgery after significant weight loss and resultant breast deflation. Over the past two years, she achieved a 240-pound to 155-pound weight loss through diet, exercise, and medical weight loss support and has maintained a stable goal weight for approximately six months.
She is now seeking breast augmentation in Tampa due to loss of breast volume, decreased upper pole fullness, and overall deflation following weight loss. She desires larger, fuller breasts and is interested in breast augmentation surgery to improve breast size, shape, and overall proportion. She is currently an A/B cup and desires a fuller C/D cup result with natural-looking breast enhancement. A breast lift was discussed due to slightly low nipple position; however, she prefers to avoid a breast lift and associated scarring and is accepting of mild nipple position asymmetry. She understands that scoliosis-related breast asymmetry will persist after breast augmentation and may be slightly more noticeable following surgery.
Dr. Temmen recommended breast augmentation with silicone implants (375cc) placed under the muscle through an inframammary fold (IMF) incision. This breast augmentation Tampa procedure is designed to restore lost breast volume after weight loss, enhance breast shape, and improve overall body proportions. Breast augmentation before and after results are expected to demonstrate increased fullness, improved cleavage, and restoration of upper pole breast contour.
Breast augmentation surgery remains one of the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures in Tampa for patients seeking fuller breasts after weight loss, pregnancy, or natural volume loss. As a board-certified female plastic surgeon in Tampa, Dr. Temmen customizes each breast augmentation procedure to the patient’s anatomy and aesthetic goals to achieve balanced, natural-looking, and long-lasting results.
